Privacy

We designed this site so it has almost nothing to protect. Here is exactly what that means.

Information we don't collect

velmuzi.com has no sign-up, no contact form, no analytics service and no advertising network. Nothing on the page loads from another company's server. The game stores your high score, best time and mute setting on your own device, and that data never travels to us.

Email you send us

When you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever the message says. We use it for one thing: replying. We delete the thread one year after the last reply. It isn't sold, shared or added to a mailing list, and we don't send commercial messages of any kind, which is what Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) would require your consent for.

Server logs

The company that hosts the site keeps short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the service secure. Those servers may be outside Canada. We don't look people up in them.

Your rights under PIPEDA

You may ask what personal information we have on file for you, request that it be corrected, or withdraw your consent to us keeping it. Email us and you'll get an answer within 30 days. If you think we've handled your information badly, you can file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Young players

BeeBuzz doesn't ask anyone for personal information, so children can play without sharing anything. Kids under 13 who want to email us should do it with a parent.

For the purposes of Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25), David Wilson is the person in charge of protecting personal information; write to [email protected].
